Today I want to share with you the glorious Spring time conditions in the Pyrenees. In the photo you see my friend Abraham in front of the dolmen  (standing stone) in the natural Labyrinth of Nebias, a small village in the Pyrenees, close to Puivert.

The clarity of the light, the pureness of the air, the unspoiled condition of the area are all characteristics of a feeling of “awakening” that goes with the concept of Spring!

We are all looking for our personal “sprouting” to happen after the hybernation of Winter. We all want to be re-born…!

In an area like this labyrinth, you can really feel the quality of Spring awakening on your skin; it is tactile and gives you goosebumps of a special kind.

In the labyrinth you can enjoy some very specific phenomena like this dolmen and a tree with a quite unique trunk system, but I still find the labyrinth itself to be the most intriguing of all.

The Elphs and the Druids are still around. Time is standing still and the quietude is beyond words.

This sacred place is one of the destinations in my guide tours in the area and I will be more than happy to share this spot with you and spend some time there for you to get the feel of the timelessness and to appreciate the natural beauty of our Earth.

  1. Rosemarie thanks for this lovely post on your blog. I remember the special energy of the place and the visions I had of and in the rock where I posed. Feeling the ancient Druids performing their wisdom with kindred spirits…that was quite an experience!
