Today is one of those days that you think you are doing and saying the right thing. And then it turns out that another person might have a completely different perspective on that and you do not have a clue what they mean or what is triggering the other person into reacting the way they do.
I find that confusing to say the least. Fully aware that in my opnion I am quite right in what I do and say, it is hard to let go of this perception and to look from an alternative spot and with a helicopter view to observe what is unfolding.
Then confusion really kicks in. Because we are constantly looking for “being right”, it is hard work to let go of the “being right thing” and to take another position> To look at what is going on and to “see” where a shift is needed in order to create more flow, more stability and more tranquility, especially in our thoughts.
Meditation is a good tool to turn this confusion into clarity and to take distance from your own point of view and to welcome other points of view. Empty the mind, especially that never ceasing voice that is constantly urging us to look for that being right approach to our life’s situations.
Therefor my wish for today is: may there not be any more need for being right …..
