Today’s photograph was taken last weekend at the bottom of the north slope of Mount  Bugarach.

The smell of broom is enchanting and mesmerizing. It is uplifting and at the same time there is this touch of mysticism that goes with it that makes it so recognizable. In our travel area (click on travel to go there virtually) you can smell it almost everywhere during this time of the year and the beautiful color of the flowers is so lively it makes you want to jump like a 6 year old ….

Broom really brings back the little princess in me and empowers me to use the magic wand for the good of all. In my mind at least…..

The wildflowers that are currently out in masses are really something else in this part of France and after the latest showers they are showing off like never before.

I will have some more flower surprises for you the upcoming days…. so keep tuned in and enjoy.
