Thursday, summer has (supposedly) started but today it is making it’s way back…. Around midday it is still just barely 20 degrees and overcast with now and then a promise of better to come.

On Sunday last, when this photograph was taken, summer was in full swing….. and the lavender added it’s beautiful scent to the already so powerful cocktail of summer elements of nature. Looking at the picture the smell rises up in my nostrils again, as well as the feeling of excitement that comes along with fine scents, warm colors and impressive nature.

Lavender, that plant that has made the South of France so famous. The scent that has been used for centuries to reach a certain freshness. That still serves as one of the basics for the perfume industry together with broom, which I will be showing tomorrow.

Taking all of this in, makes you light like the vibration of air filled with this tantalizing natural perfume …
